What makes you Different?
We make our custom cakes and desserts from scratch! We source the freshest and quality ingredients which improves the taste and quality of our desserts. Our baked goods are not made in factories like those of some grocery store bakeries. We are known for our moist cake recipes and out of this world flavors, guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds.
Do you make Custom order cakes?
Yes. Please e-mail abbyscakesnmoore@yahoo.com with your specifications. We ask that you order 2 to 4 weeks in advance for a custom cakes, and 2 to 3 months for wedding cakes. Please include as many details as possible.
PRICING: Pricing varies depending on the design elements, cake size and flavor, so it would not be practical to list pricing for every cake we can do. We will provide a quote that fits your specific needs
Is there a Deposit required?
Yes, once we have confirmed your order, we will request a 50% deposit within 24 hours. If an order is placed within the same month as the event, please plan for full payment to confirm your order.
We must receive a PAID 50% deposit to confirm your order and hold your date. The final payment must be received at least a week before your event
Do you provide Catering?
Yes, we do provide catering services. Please email us with your details at abbyscakesnmoore@yahoo.com, please provide a date, set up time, event start and ending time, guest count, type of baked goods, so we can ensure we have the appropriate amount of staff for a smooth event!
Do you offer Shipping?
Currently, we do not offer shipping. But keep checking back for updates!
Do you offer discounts or packages?
We are a small business, husband and wife team. We shop and bake daily using the freshest ingredients and we are priced to provide the best quality, the best flavor and the best value to our customers. We do not offer any discounts or packages.
How far in advance do I need to place my custom cake order?
We highly recommend placing orders at least 2 - 4 weeks in advance for any special orders as our schedule does book up. For weddings, we recommend placing your order at least 2 - 3 months in advance of your wedding date. We do not guarantee availability until an order has been confirmed and a deposit has been made.
Do you offer Cake Tastings?
We offer design consultations and tastings to ensure that you get exactly the cake you want. Consultations are $35 with payment due at the time of booking the appointment. You can choose 3 to 5 cake flavor samples. You are welcome to bring guests, but we do recommend limiting it to 3 trusted guests as the consultation can become unfocused and less productive when several people are present.
Do you Deliver? Is there a Delivery Fee or Set -up Fee?
Delivery is available and reasonably priced according to location. We asked that the cake table be set up and ready for cake placement which includes; table constructed and in place for display, with tablecloth. We DO NOT provide or set up ANY cake table décor other than cake placement and adding any fresh florals provided by you. If you plan on having fresh florals added to your cake, please let us know at least 3 days before delivery. Please send us the ADDRESS + TIME SLOT NEEDED for delivery, and we’ll provide you a QUOTE.
Delivery prices are based on location, time required, & logistics. (Costly logistics: walking 4-tier cakes down the beach sand; entering a military base; outdoor setups without tents; stairs, some private homes; golf cart entries like Zoo & Safari Park; etc.)
Can we PICKUP our cake or dessert to save money?
Yes. While we highly recommend having a professional baker handle your delivery, some orders may be suitable for pickup (by family, friends, or wedding coordinators) at our location during specific times.
NOTE: If we do not handle the delivery, you are responsible for the order once it leaves our location. Please carefully follow cake care instructions to make sure your cake looks and taste its best
What is your Refund or Cancellation Policy?
REFUND POLICY: We do not provide refunds. Our goal is to always satisfy our customers. We stand behind our recipes! Most people love our flavors! If we have made a genuine mistake we will always correct the issue. We are not able to offer refunds in cases where the product was picked up and cake care instructions are not followed. When you pick up your order, please inspect it carefully before taking it off-site. Once the order is taken off the property, we are not responsible for any problems that may occur.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We are not able to cancel orders with less than 7 days notice. In some, but not all cases, it may be possible for us to offer a store credit for a future purchase in the event of a cancellation.
CAKE CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All of our cakes are best served at room temperature. Every order is meant to be served on the date that it is picked up or delivered. This is when the order is at its freshest!
1. PICK UP and CARRY cake from the BOTTOM ONLY
2. Keep cake LEVEL AT ALL TIMES including transport, refrigeration and set-up
3. TRANSPORT Cake in AIR-CONDITIONED VEHICLE away from loose objects
4. When PICKING UP CAKE go directly to location and REFRIGERATE IMMEDIATELY
5. Take cake out from refrigerator at least 1 hour before event
6. DO NOT display cakes directly in the SUN or HOT AREAS
If you have leftovers or need to store your cake overnight, please wrap the cake in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. Please allow enough time for your cake to come to room temperature before serving.
Fresh Flowers can be added to cakes by custom request. The cake will need to stay very cool so the flowers do not wilt or leak. If your cake has fresh flowers attached, please make sure to remove the flowers and toothpicks before serving. It is also very important to check with your guests to ensure they do not have any allergies related to the fresh florals.
